Zlín
Commercial and industrial centre in the south-east of Moravia. An important milestone in the history of the town was the year 1897 when the Baťa family founded a shoe manufacturing plant. The plant contributed to town planning and development of Zlín. Buildings constructed in Zlín in the period from 1910 to 1950 were declared in 2000 in the national competition as the Buildings of the Century. Distance: 20 km.
